In November of 2000, I lost my mom to Lung Cancer. Since that time, I've looked for a way to assist in the fight against this horrible disease. In January, I saw an ad for the American Lung Association's Climb For Clean Air, a Mt. Rainier climb that raises funds to combat all types of diseases of the lung. At that time I decided to combine two personal goals, to climb Mount Rainier and to help in the fight against lung cancer.
